My Chinese New Year!
Happy Chinese New Year 2010 everyone!! I think the Chinese New Year is so great, because I treat it as a re-do for my New Years Resolution. How can I eat healthy on January 1st when so many bowl games are on T.V.?? So, if I slip a little bit, then I make sure my goals are renewed for the Chinese New Year. It falls on a different day every year, and this year it fell on Valentines Day. To celebrate, Haeley and I grabbed some food from *Great China in Brighton (shameless plug: 810-229-5577)*and ordered my favorite Thai Chicken. If you want to try it for yourself, just show up, and ask for "what Dr. Duncan usually gets." Jay or Danny should know what you're talking about.
The whole point of this this story is to say, don't GIVE UP on your New Years Resolutions. If you have been putting something off, then take action on it TODAY! If it's hard to get into a workout routine, then let us help. I've found that getting adjusted helps the aches and pains associated with starting a new workout program. Also, don't let your other doctors GIVE UP on you, your friends or your family if they are in pain. If you've tried everything and nothing has worked, let us take a look. We have several primary physicians, specialists, and physical therapists that we KNOW will take good care of you. You may have heard about our Spinal Decompression Program in the Press and Argus that printed a couple of weeks ago. Here is the link if you missed it - Press and Argus Article.
We have helped many with herniated, bulging, and even degenerated discs, avoid having surgery. I have some really great articles below for you (and please don't get mad at me about the Wii research study), so grab a cup of coffee or a water and enjoy!
Before I go, let me say THANKS! THANKS! THANKS! for all of the referrals in January. Check out our loaded referral board!! We have been talking about extending our hours at our office, when we move to our bigger location (WITH BETTER PARKING!!) on May 4th to make sure that our office is never too packed! Your referrals allow us to use the latest technology, add additional staff, and to give you better care. So thank you again, and your referrals will always be given the V.I.P. treatment.
If we haven't seen you in a while, call or just stop in and we can get you back on track with your health. See ya soon.
